In an attempt to motivate students to understand and experience Digital Marketing, ‘Like You’ persuades students to form teams and create a Facebook Page for a particular product and they go about doing marketing the page in a span of two days. Within these two days, they are supposed to get the maximum amount of likes for the page, inbound activities; page visits, etc., thereby comprehensively understanding the marketing analytics of a particular social media. The social media used need not be necessarily Facebook but requires only a single platform for the sake of evaluation of the teams.

It will be an online event. Participants can create the page any time as per their choice.

They are given sufficient time to understand and analyze the case study and come up with feasible solutions to the problems or provide an alternative path that could have shown better results for the business. This event primarily focuses on the ability to analyze a case and think out of the box for a solution. The Case Study event can construe the future Business Analysts of various esteemed organizations.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

• Each team shall comprise of 3-4 teammates.
• Teams will be given the case 2.5 Hours before the start of the event for analysis.
• Teams must submit synopsis of their case study to the judges prior to the start of the event.Entries must contain the following:
  
  • Cover or title page – Team Name, Listing Title, University and team members’ names.
  • Brief summary- This is a written outline of the case study summarizing all key points .It could include a situation analysis, research, goals and objectives, strategies and tactics,and evaluations. Teams without the synopsis will be disqualified.
• 15 minutes will be given to each team to present their case analysis. Out of this 15 minutes, 10 min. will be given for case presentation and 5 min will be given for handling the queries.

• Apart from the product, no other props will be provided by the organizers.
• Caution should be taken to refrain from obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation etc.

This quiz will be a based on how quick you are with your knowledge. This will be a verbal quiz where the paticipants will have to compete with each other. Every answer that you give will award you with 10 points.The participant with highest number of points will win this round.

In case of a tie,tie breaker will take place.

Here you have to present the jury with a solid business plan of the idea given by you in Round 1.

This round tests your speaking and selling skills. In this final round you have to sell your business to the jury through your presentation.

PS: The presentations must be as powerpoint presentations.
